1. The Enquiry
It all starts with you getting in touch. Whether you’re going on holiday, away for work, or simply need support during a busy week, you can contact us via our form or by email - info@cambridgecatsitting.com. We’ll check availability, answer any initial questions, and guide you through the next steps.
2. The Meet & Greet
Before the start of any booking, we arrange a complimentary meet and greet. This gives us the opportunity to:
- Meet you and your cat(s) in person
- Learn their routine, including feeding, litter, medication, and playtime
- Take note of any habits and favourite toys
- Answer any questions you may have
It also allows your cat to meet us at their own pace, so our visits feel calm and familiar from the very beginning.
3. Tailored Visits
Every visit is designed around your cat’s individual needs and personality.
Standard visits last 30 minutes (longer visits are available) and typically include:
- Fresh food and water
- Litter tray cleaning
- Playtime, fuss, and cuddles (if your cat enjoys it)
- Grooming and/or medication, if required
- Home care (post, bins, curtains, lights, plants, etc.)
For households with more than five cats, we recommend a 45- or 60-minute visit so that each cat receives the attention they deserve.
If you require vet transport and support, we ask for a minimum of 30 minutes either side of the appointment to ensure everything runs smoothly and without stress.
4. Updates & Peace of Mind
We know how important it is to stay connected. That’s why we send regular updates and photos via WhatsApp during every booking. It’s our way of reassuring you that your cat is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

6. Booking Ahead
We recommend booking early for busy periods such as summer holidays, school holidays, Easter, and Christmas. However, we will always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests wherever possible.
