Become a Cat Sitter in Cambridge

Flexible, self-employed work for reliable cat lovers.

We’re looking for caring and dependable people to join our team of self-employed cat sitters across Cambridge and the surrounding villages.

Our sitters visit cats in their own homes while their owners are away, helping them remain happy, comfortable and cared for in familiar surroundings.

If you’re confident around cats, have your own car and smartphone, and can offer morning, evening and holiday availability, we’d love to hear from you.

What does a cat sitter do?

Our sitters provide friendly, reliable care tailored to each individual cat. Visits typically include:

Providing food and fresh water
Cleaning litter trays and feeding areas
Offering play, fuss and companionship
Checking that cats are happy and comfortable
Sending owners updates and photographs
Keeping clients’ homes safe and secure

Every cat is different, so patience, observation and respect for their personality are essential.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll need:

Experience and confidence caring for cats
A reliable and conscientious approach
Your own car and a valid driving licence
A smartphone with reliable internet access
Some morning, evening, weekend and holiday availability
To live in or within easy reach of Cambridge

You’ll work independently, but as part of an established local team that genuinely cares about providing an excellent service to cats and their humans.
